| The Manchester String Quartet The quartet was formed in 2000 and made its city debut in 2003 giving a performance at the old University Music department's concert hall as guests of the Lindsay String Quartet in the Ida Carroll Lunchtime concert series. All four members are University Graduates and have all studied at the Royal Northern College of Music. The Quartet has performed both throughout Britain and abroad, and recently gave a series of concerts in Zambia. In addition to classical repertoire the Manchester quartet have extensive experience providing music for functions, weddings and similar occasions with a wide repertoire of jazz, blues, pop, and theme tune arrangements. |
